Do you offer wedding coordination services?

Yes, we offer a variety of planning and coordination packages to help make your day as smooth as possible.

What is your alcohol policy?

We allow alcohol. All alcohol must be served by a licensed TABC certified bartender. Security is required during the hours that alcohol is served. Security and bartender is provided by the venue and the associated costs will be added to your rental agreement.

Do you have an open or closed vendor policy?

We have an open vendor policy and warmly welcome all vendors to The 1906 Venue.  All food vendors must be licensed. If you need referrals, please contact our Director of Weddings & Events.

Can I add more hours to my reservation?

Absolutely. Additional hours can be added to your rental agreement at $350 per hour.

Can I bring vendors or family to see the space prior to the wedding or event?

YES! Please contact our Director of Weddings & Events to schedule a walk through.

What is your security damage policy?

We ask to keep a credit card on file as a simple security measure in the unlikely event damages occur to our facility during your event. We will never charge your card for damages without detailed documentation and speaking with you prior. After your event, your credit card information is permanently, safely & securely deleted from our system.

Do you allow candles and sparkler exits?

Only unity candles during the ceremony are allowed. We do allow sparkler exits. Please discuss with our Director of Weddings & Events if you intend to have either a unity candle or sparklers so we can ensure safety measures are in place.

Do you require wedding insurance?

Yes, you are required to provide proof of liability insurance at least 30 days prior to the event. The 1906 can provide a list of qualified insurance companies. Our deposits are non-refundable.
